On Martin Luther King Day, we will hold an Art Workshops to kick off our fundraiser for the YMCA Youth Program of Ziguinchor, Senegal, in West Africa. We hope to collect a total of $1000, enough to fund an afterschool enrichment and tutoring program for 200 youth, for one year. This program will provide valuable employment for 4-5 adults as well. Proceeds from the workshop will go to the fundraiser, as will proceeds from African Crafts made at the workshop.

African Arts Workshop
Monday, January 18 12-3PM Ages 6-17
We will create African beaded keychains and necklaces, to be sold along with information which explains the purpose of our fundraiser. Students will also have time to do some free choice work as well.
